SHELTER FOR FAMILIES
The Forever Courage House is a shelter for family members of critically burned patients who are receiving treatment at the Arizona Burn Center, Maricopa Medical Center; the Grossman Burn Center, St. Luke’s Medical Center; and for families of severe trauma patients. A serious burn or trauma injury may result in a hospital stay that can last from one week to many months. Family members often have nowhere to stay, and are faced with paying for their primary housing with the added burden of securing temporary lodging in Phoenix.

SHELTER FOR SURVIVORS
In addition, Forever Courage House can be used by patients when they have to return to Phoenix for additional surgeries and other therapy. The shelter was expanded to a second unit, which was dedicated in December of 2006. There is currently space for ten families.
